Student Employment Opportunities

The ISU Parking Division offers great opportunities for students to gain useful knowledge and work experience for their future careers. We have a few different positions that we fill with students including Enforcement Officer, Office Assistant, Dispatch and AutoCAD Map Editor. We are always accepting applications.

Enforcement Officer 

  • Write parking citations on campus
  • Provide Motorist Assists (jumpstart, gas assist, air up a flat tire, etc.)
  • Direct traffic if needed
  • Weekdays and/or Weekends

 

Office Assistant 

  • Cashier and customer service at the front counter
  • Sell permits and accept payments for citations
  • Data entry
  • Monday-Friday between 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.

Parking Dispatch 

  • Answer radio and dispatch information to Enforcement Officers
  • Answer the HelpVan line and dispatch the HelpVan
  • Enter Bicycle permits
  • Weekday evenings after 4:00p.m.

 

AutoCAD Map Editor (All Positions Filled)

  • Must know how to use AutoCAD software
  • Edit parking lot maps
  • Monday-Friday between 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.
