Parking Permits

Permits for the Academic School Year

Students may purchase a permit for all student lots by visiting the Iowa State Parking Division Portal and purchasing their permit online. Permit prices and refund schedule is listed here. 

Permits Rules

Virtual Permits are nontransferable. Please notify the Parking Office if you have a vehicle change. If you no longer need a permit, you may call or email the Parking Division office to cancel your permit. Refunds are prorated and will be issued back to the credit card used to purchase or to Ubill if preferred. See prices and proration schedule here.

 

** Parking is limited for resident lots. Alternate parking consists of Lot 61 (Wallace/Wilson/Towers) or the Stadium Lots. 

Student Permits for Fall 2024-2025

All vehicles are required to have permits to park on campus and in residence hall lots. Permits will be on sale beginning in July 2024 according to your housing assignment. Specific dates are listed here. Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis.

 

Football Home Games

Stadium permit holders are required to move their vehicles by midnight before every home football game. See the Weekend Parking Map for information on where you can move your vehicle beginning Friday at 5:30pm.

Students may purchase a permit for Towers (Lot 61A,B,C,G) or Stadium lots (S2-S8) by visiting the Iowa State Parking Division Portal.

*Parking is limited in this lot. Students living at RCA are eligible for Alternative Student Parking at Stadium or Lot 61 Towers.
